The Linda Blackstone Gallery was founded on September 11th 1985. The opening of the gallery was a lifelong dream for Linda, who had a passion for art and wanted to open a gallery with a difference. Somewhere that wasn’t elitist. Somewhere where people could come and enjoy the laid back ambience of a gallery run for the love of it, with no pressure to buy. A gallery that celebrated new and upcoming artists. Back in 1985 Linda’s motto was that you should “invest in art for lasting pleasure“. A motto that still stands true to this day, 25 years after opening. In January 2008 we moved out of the Pinner Gallery and into a purpose built studio just outside Rickmansworth and more recently to Totteridge where currently patrons are able visit, by appointment, to view new works that are always arriving before being exibited at various prestigious Art Fairs all over the UK. Linda now concentrates on the 10 national and international exhibitions that she takes her artists work to each year.
